    Are men's UGG slippers and moccasins true to size?

    Our men’s UGG house slippers and moccasins are true to size and are designed to fit snugly at first—while they mould to the shape of your feet. However, if you have higher than usual foot arches, have wide feet, bunions or if you have ‘Greek’ feet (where your second toe is longer than your first toe), then we recommend you order a size larger. Are your feet narrow? Then order one size smaller.

    Can you wash men's UGG slippers and moccasins?

    You must never wash your men’s UGG sheepskin slippers (or moccasins) in the washing machine, as this would destroy the natural material. Instead, if you have stains on your UGG slippers or moccasins, spot-clean them with a clean cloth dampened with soapy water. Then, allow the shoes to fully air dry without using heat.

    Do men's UGG slippers and moccasins stretch?

    Made of natural sheepskin with a suede finish, our men’s UGG moccasins and slippers stretch a little as they mould to the shape of your feet. That is why they deliberately have a snug fit at the beginning—such that when they do stretch, they are not loose or floppy on your feet.

    Can you wear men's UGG slippers and moccasins for outdoor use?

    Wide-Fit
    • Wide-fit shoes are designed with a larger amount of available room for the foot, meaning they are more roomy and comfy than the regular fit or narrow fit shoes. Wide-fit shoes incorporate a wider tread on the sole of the shoe and a deeper toe box, and that makes this fit style the most suited to people who may be experiencing some form of foot problems such as corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, etc. They are also great for those who desire some extra level of comfort and relief when they have their shoes on.

    Regular-Fit
    • Regular-Fit shoes are typically the most comfortable. Most shoes will fit medium feet just fine as that is the standard that manufacturers work with. They provide the most comfort without compromising on style.

    Narrow-Fit
    • Narrow-fit shoes provide the extra fitting for persons with slender feet. They are primarily designed to be 1/4 inch narrower than regular shoes, and 1/2 inch narrow than wide shoes, providing extra support, comfort and ease of wear. Narrow-fit shoes eliminate the spaces on the side of your feet with regular shoes and the discomfort of not finding your size.

    What’s the best shoe fit for me?

    The best shoe fit is highly dependent on your feet size and the how your feet fit into shoes. If your feet feels constrained even when you wear shoe sizes that matches the length of your feet, you may require wide-fit shoes. So also, if you find shoe sizes that fit the length of your feet, but leave spaces on the sides of your feet, you likely have narrow-width feet.

    In both cases, we have specially tailored shoe sizes for all fits. You would find that all our shoes are super comfortable and orthotic friendly.

     

     

     Standard
    • Standard sole with SHORE A hardness value between 70-80. These soles are rigid, great for shoe designs that require good grips in harsh weather. Leather soles can also be used in dress shoes or shoes for formal occasions.
    Flexible
    • Flexible polyurethane sole with SHORE A hardness value of between 40-70 are about perfect for most occasions. These are the standards for casual shoes as you would find these soles in most casual shoes like sneakers. The flexible soles are resilient with good ground grip, and flexible with good grounds insulation and shock-absorbing properties.
    Ultra Flexible
    • Ultra-Flexible soles with SHORE A hardness value of between 10-40, are soft and super flexible. They are the perfect soles for running shoes and shoes for activities that require high propulsive abilities.



    FAQ

    Are softer soled shoes really all that comfortable?

    No. While you might think so at first, most podiatrists disagree. Podiatrists are of the opinion that most soft soles can do more harm than good. Shoes shouldn't be too soft! Shoes with too soft of a sole lack support, rebound, and stability, which can lead to foot injuries. Shoes with much firmer soles provide most of the support your feet needs.

    What Sole types are used in your shoes?

    While the sole type may vary due to supply, our shoes are designed with you, the consumer in mind. So, we make shoes to suit all needs with different sole types. But, with each sole type, there is a rigorous testing process under different conditions to ensure our shoes are safe and comfortable for every use.

    Rigid or Flexible Sole, which works best?

    Shoes are often designed for specific uses except where explicitly noted, and soles too. While rigid soles offer some form of stability, they do not offer the propulsive abilities of flexible soles. The choice of rigid or flexible soles lies with preference and in some cases how the shoe is intended to be used.
